About the project

Proteus arrived as a compelling idea without a coherent identity, a cultural initiative spanning art, fashion, and environmental advocacy that needed to speak credibly to three distinct audiences simultaneously: the art world, high-street sponsors, and institutional donors. The core strategic challenge was that each audience required a different proof of legitimacy, yet the brand could only have one voice. The strategic insight was that Proteus didn't need to simplify. It needed to elevate. By positioning the initiative at the level of cultural authority rather than advocacy urgency, the brand could command respect from arts institutions while remaining aspirational enough for commercial sponsors. This informed every creative decision: a refined visual identity system built for high-stakes environments like gallery walls and sponsor decks, and a presentation architecture designed to move different stakeholders toward the same conviction through different entry points. The result: Proteus entered the Paris launch phase with aligned collaborators, active sponsor conversations, and secured venue interest, built on a brand foundation credible enough to open doors across all three worlds simultaneously.
